We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will receive a competitive pay rate ranging from $18 to $21 per hour based on experience. This position requires a commitment to the late shift on weekends, specifically Thursday through Sunday, from 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM, comprising four 10-hour shifts. Responsibilities:

– Conduct analysis and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and samples of finished products to ensure conformity with specifications.
– Perform incoming raw materials testing, verifying compliance with required specifications.
– Document test results on batch tickets and input data into the company’s computer systems.
– Organize and maintain quality records as well as retain samples from production batches and raw materials.
– Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all tests conducted.
– Set up, adjust, verify, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
– Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
– Adhere to the established Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Policy.
– Evaluate retained samples from production batches in response to quality complaints.
– Conduct 5S audits or other audits according to a planned schedule.
– Support all quality control-related initiatives within the company.

Requirements:

– An Associate’s degree is preferred.
– A minimum of 2 years of analytical laboratory experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
