The Marketing & Events Specialist at Mammotome plays a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and management of various educational initiatives. This includes physician education events, advisory board meetings, product spotlight events, webinars, and user meetings. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, this on-site position is integral to the Americas Marketing and Product Education team. Our mission is to drive innovative technologies that enhance efficiencies while keeping the focus on the patients at the heart of every breast cancer journey.
In this position, you will report to the Director of Americas Marketing and Education and will be responsible for overseeing the event planning process across departments and management levels. Your role will entail delivering comprehensive event experiences that align with set goals and objectives, measuring metrics for return on investment, and managing budgets. We are seeking a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, impactful environment and is motivated to contribute to the development of a world-class Sales and Marketing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing and Education to plan, coordinate, and execute physician education events and advisory meetings, acting as both event planner and project coordinator to ensure successful outcomes.
– Prepare healthcare professional documentation and comply with Sunshine Act reporting requirements.
– Establish standard practices, processes, and systems for all educational events, collaborating with Product Managers and Sales representatives to ensure accurate representation of products and therapies by teaching physicians.
– Analyze event results and implement recommendations for continuous improvement based on findings.
Qualifications:
– A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or an Associate’s Degree with 4 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, Education, Training, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
– Willingness to travel up to 40% for on-site event coordination, with varying travel demands across seasons (40% in Spring, 25-30% in Winter/Fall, and minimal in Summer).
– Oversee domestic and international travel, with trips lasting between 1-7 days.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in coordinating professional physician education or medical advisory boards.
– Proven track record in event planning.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $75,000 – $80,000. This is the anticipated salary range at the time of this posting, which may be adjusted in the future. This position is also eligible for bonus or incentive pay.
