BASIC FUNCTION & JOB DUTIES:
In this role, you will work under general supervision to assist the management team in overseeing the front desk and guest service operations of the hotel. You will ensure that Drury Hotels’ policies and procedures are consistently communicated and adhered to at all times. Upholding a high standard of integrity, you will provide motivation and exhibit positive leadership qualities that inspire team members to surpass expectations through exemplary customer service. You will also assist in training guest service team members.
Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee an exceptional guest experience by offering courteous, efficient, and friendly service to all guests and potential guests in a professional manner. You will respond promptly and effectively to inquiries, requests, and complaints with a positive service attitude, contributing to a harmonious work environment for our diverse team and guests.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
The position requires the ability to both give and understand written and verbal instructions. Effective communication in English is essential for interacting with guests and team members. You must possess comprehensive knowledge of Drury Hotels’ policies and procedures and have the capability to train, motivate, and inspire team members to perform at or above company standards. Additionally, a solid understanding of marketing and sales programs is required. You should be prepared to perform the duties of a guest service agent, night audit, or other roles as needed, and must be capable of handling cash, making change, and utilizing office equipment in routine daily activities. Responsibilities also include monitoring hotel facilities and team member practices to ensure a safe and secure environment for all, as well as identifying and addressing unsafe conditions. Attention to detail is crucial, and some travel may be required.
