Job Description
Job Title: Caregiver 3rd Shift
Company: Oakleigh of Macomb
Location: Chesterfield, MI
Pay: $16.5 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16.50 for a “Caregiver 3rd Shift” position in Chesterfield, MI, is generally considered below the average pay for similar roles in the area and within the broader industry. As of 2023, caregiver wages in Michigan typically range from $12 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and specific duties, with many employers offering compensation in the $18-$22 per hour range, especially for overnight shifts. Factors such as the cost of living in Chesterfield, the demand for caregivers, and specific job requirements may impact competitiveness; however, at $16.50, the pay could be viewed as less attractive, potentially making it harder to recruit and retain qualified caregivers.
