Job Title: Med Tech

Company: Oakleigh of Macomb

Location: Chesterfield, MI

Pay: $17 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17 for a “Med Tech” role in Chesterfield, MI, is somewhat below the national average, which typically ranges from $18 to $25 per hour depending on experience, specific state regulations, and the type of facility. In Michigan, this wage may be closer to the lower end of the scale, especially in areas with a lower cost of living. While some entry-level positions might start around this rate, more experienced Med Techs typically command higher wages due to the responsibilities associated with medication administration and patient care. Therefore, while $17 may be acceptable for entry-level positions or as a starting point, it may not be competitive for attracting skilled candidates in the field.
