Responsibilities:
- Execute janitorial duties with attention to detail
- Complete all tasks outlined in the daily schedule
- Operate motorized cleaning equipment as needed
- Maintain the daily upkeep of assigned areas
- Report incidents and hazardous conditions to the supervisor
- Adhere to safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Mitigate risky behaviors in oneself and others
- Collaborate with team members to complete work assignments
- Perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Maintain a clean work area
- Follow all established protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Accept direction and respond to supervision appropriately
- Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers
- Provide coverage during staff shortages
- Assist the shift lead in completing punch list items
- Utilize proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional demeanor and appearance
- Understand the principles of customer service and satisfaction
- Familiarize oneself with reporting systems and safety protocols in the work environment
Qualifications:
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening test
- Bilingual skills are advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, with a willingness to share insights with the team
- Familiarity with the maintenance and care of cleaning equipment
