Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for effectively communicating with individuals or groups, both verbally and in writing, including customers, suppliers, and associates. You will implement the business plan for your designated area of responsibility by clearly articulating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility objectives related to production, quality, and safety.

Your responsibilities will also include monitoring and managing productivity within your area by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. You will ensure that quality and safety standards are upheld by training associates on logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and managing supporting documentation and procedures.

Identifying concerns raised by associates, customers, or suppliers is crucial. You will listen actively and consult with others when necessary to determine the appropriate corrective actions or to make recommendations for resolution. Furthermore, you will supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback. You will also play a pivotal role in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of team members.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates may also meet qualifications through one year of experience in Walmart Logistics Management, two years of Walmart Logistics experience, or two years in a supervisory role.
