Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Kitchen Supervisors to become integral members of our team at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop weekly dining room menus utilizing personal or established recipes.
  • Supervise food preparation while ensuring adherence to quality, presentation, and sanitation standards; verify portion sizes and compliance with departmental rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure optimal functionality of kitchen equipment; supervise team members in maintaining cleanliness and organization in food production areas, walk-ins, and freezers, ensuring proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food.
  • Monitor and maintain food costs within parameters established by culinary leadership.
  • Execute opening, closing, and side work responsibilities as directed, adhering to established guidelines.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience as a Line Cook, Lead Line Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong basic math skills necessary for understanding, calculating, and following recipe measurements.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A college degree is not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift and occasionally push and pull equipment, such as mops and brooms.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient for chopping, mixing, blending, and whipping various foods and liquids.
