This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators play a pivotal role in introducing customers to innovative items and brands by conducting product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. While experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstration, brand ambassadorship, or advocacy is advantageous, it is not a requirement.
Responsibilities include engaging customers to convey key information about products, ensuring compliance with food safety standards during sample preparation (including cooking, processing, plating, and serving), and collaborating with the team to meet sales goals for the featured products.
Qualifications for this position require candidates to be at least 16 years of age (18+ for roles involving alcohol and production). Preference will be given to individuals available on weekends (Friday through Sunday), though holiday and weekday availability is also valued. Candidates must have reliable access to a smartphone or tablet during their shifts and possess the ability to safely operate appliances (such as microwaves, toaster ovens, and hot plates).
