Job description:
A Senior Retail Project Manager in construction for large retail stores (e.g., Walmart, Kroger, Costco, Meijer) will be responsible for overseeing the development of retail spaces from inception to completion. This position demands extensive experience in managing multi-million-dollar projects, generally valued at $10 million or more, while ensuring delivery within time and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all scopes of work, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and Concrete.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Lead project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Identify and resolve issues related to site conditions, design alterations, or contractor performance.
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
