Job Description
Job Title: Machine Operator – 2nd shift
Company: Royal Plastics Inc
Location: Mentor, OH
Pay: $16 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $16 for a “Machine Operator – 2nd shift” position in Mentor, OH, is generally considered lower than the industry standard for this role, especially within manufacturing settings. According to industry data from 2023, machine operators’ wages typically range from $18 to $25 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, specific skills, and the complexity of machinery operated. In Mentor, OH, the cost of living is slightly above the national average, which further emphasizes the need for competitive wages to attract talent. Overall, while $16 may appeal to entry-level candidates or those seeking flexible shifts, it may not be sufficient to attract more experienced operators in a competitive job market.
