Talent Together is a statewide consortium composed of all 56 Intermediate School Districts (ISDs) and Regional Educational Service Agencies (RESAs) in Michigan. Committed to collaboration with essential partners, including colleges, universities, the Michigan Department of Education, the Department of Labor, and the Michigan Educator Workforce Initiative, we aim to design and implement a robust suite of programs that facilitate pathways into the teaching profession.
Our mission at Talent Together is to ensure equitable access and opportunities within the teaching profession by removing barriers and providing multiple layers of support. This ensures prospective educators can successfully complete high-quality teacher preparation programs. Ultimately, we strive to enhance the teaching workforce’s diversity and preparedness across Michigan.
To achieve our goal of significantly increasing access to the teaching profession, the Talent Together consortium is innovating solutions to overcome common obstacles, such as the cost of coursework and the necessity of earning a living wage while obtaining certification. Our Registered Apprenticeship Program will encompass job-embedded coursework coupled with comprehensive on-the-job support and training from experienced educators, thereby opening more pathways for individuals in various communities to successfully enter and thrive in the teaching profession.
We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our executive team. This role necessitates strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the capability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. Beyond standard administrative responsibilities, the ideal candidate will assist with event planning and coordination to ensure the seamless execution of company events.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Assistant, Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role.
- Event planning experience with a demonstrated ability to successfully manage and execute events.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office productivity tools.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Executive Support:
- Manage and maintain executives’ calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and reports.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Screen and direct phone calls and correspondence, responding on behalf of executives when appropriate.
- Prepare expense reports, invoices, and track budgets for the executive team.
Event Planning & Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and execute corporate events, conferences, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and guest accommodations.
- Collaborate closely with vendors, contractors, and other event-related contacts to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure all events are executed on schedule and align with the company’s goals and objectives.
Office Management:
- Maintain office supplies and ensure the smooth daily operations of the office environment.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, copying, and preparing correspondence.
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees and prepare necessary materials.
Communication & Coordination:
- Serve as the main point of contact for executives with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and proofread written communications, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Coordinate internal communications and ensure that information is effectively distributed across departments.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $70,150 – $80,581, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Terms of Employment:
This is a full-time, non-union position within a hybrid work environment. The role reports to the Talent Together Executive Leadership and is based in a home office. All Talent Together staff members are required to reside in Michigan and will need to travel to various locations throughout the state.
