Job description:
As a Patient Service Specialist at our outpatient physical therapy center in Sheffield Village, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our patients, beginning at the front desk. In this full-time position, you will manage both the patient and administrative aspects of our center. Your contributions will significantly influence each patient’s care experience, beginning the moment they arrive at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
– Greet and register patients, providing them with vital information about what to expect during their visit and details regarding their next appointment at checkout.
– Schedule patient appointments both in person and over the phone.
– Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders, including attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team.
– Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Minimum Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or GED.
– At least one year of front desk experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in a healthcare setting.
