In this role, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring that associates operate efficiently and collaboratively. Your primary goal is to foster an excellent customer experience through engagement with customers and by maintaining a clean, organized store environment. You will serve as a role model for exceptional customer service.

– Cultivate a positive experience for both internal and external customers.
– Promote a workplace culture grounded in honesty and integrity, while ensuring confidentiality.
– Oversee truck deliveries, with a focus on efficiently processing merchandise onto the sales floor.
– Train and mentor associates on established merchandising and processing principles.
– Ensure all merchandise is appropriately tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
– Collaborate with the Coordinator on Duty to facilitate the smooth flow of goods to the sales floor.
– Supervise associates to ensure tasks align with the store plan, adjusting priorities as necessary.
– Monitor team productivity and provide coaching as needed.
– Organize and rotate back stock for efficient replenishment.
– Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
– Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards within the backroom area.
– Ensure compliance with recycling protocols and, when applicable, hazardous waste programs.
– Communicate effectively with management and associates regarding priorities and provide progress updates.
– Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
– Collaborate with management to identify associate training needs to enhance effectiveness.
– Ensure compliance with all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
– Promote credit and loyalty programs.
– Support and participate in initiatives aimed at reducing store shrink.
– Foster a culture of safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
– Perform other duties as assigned.

This position offers a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay will be determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment.
