The opportunity
Delaware North Travel is seeking both full-time and part-time Servers to join our team at Detroit Airport in Detroit, Michigan. What will you do?
As a Server, your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and attending to guests’ needs, providing menus, clearly communicating restaurant specials, answering menu inquiries, and collecting food and beverage orders
• Serving alcoholic beverages responsibly in accordance with all alcohol service policies and procedures
• Accurately entering orders into the point-of-sale system, processing payments, and delivering checks to guests
• Collaborating effectively with fellow restaurant servers, kitchen, and bar staff
• Performing opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties as assigned, ensuring all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and operational

More about you
We value candidates with:

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
• Ideally, at least one year of experience as a server in a high-volume environment, along with familiarity with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality context

Physical requirements
Candidates must be able to:

• Lift up to 35 lbs and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, which may include navigating stairs
• Maintain sufficient visual and auditory awareness to accurately take orders and prepare checks
