Responsibilities and Authority

Maintenance Electrician Technicians are entrusted with a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Undertaking diverse electrical tasks at both the Float and OE Fabrication facilities.
• Accepting production assignments as needed to support business operations.
• Identifying, documenting, and communicating any issues related to products or processes.
• Adhering to all federal, state, and local guidelines concerning the handling and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
• Complying with corporate policies, procedures, and contractual agreements.
• Upholding professional conduct in all business interactions.
• Complying with Quality, Environmental, and Safety policies.
• Utilizing authority to initiate, recommend, or propose solutions to identified problems through the appropriate channels.
• Calibrating and verifying the functionality of instruments.
• Responding promptly to emergency situations.
• Performing routine maintenance on production equipment, as well as executing repairs when necessary.
• Wiring machinery and electrical panels in accordance with blueprints and schematics.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues by identifying problems and formulating effective repair solutions.
• Reviewing blueprints and schematics and employing various tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical components.

As part of this role, you will be accountable for maintaining an effective QS9000 Quality system that is both current and utilized within your designated area. This includes adherence to QS9000 guidelines for continual improvement in products, processes, and services to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for all auditing processes, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
