We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Behavior Technician to join our team. This role operates during the 2nd shift and presents a valuable opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional home care services.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one behavior therapy services to individuals with special needs, including children and adults.
  • Execute treatment plans and behavior support strategies as developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including caregivers, parents, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure continuity of care and optimize client outcomes.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards, fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients.
  • Assist in the assessment and observation of client behavior, identifying areas of concern and recommending suitable interventions.
  • Engage in training and professional development opportunities to continually enhance skills and knowledge within the field of behavior analysis.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or a commitment to obtain certification within a specified period.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with special needs or behavioral challenges is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality while adhering to ethical guidelines and professional standards.
  • Flexible availability, including the willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to provide compassionate care with sensitivity to individual needs and cultural differences.
  • Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of providing ABA therapy to children of diverse ages and abilities.
  • Physical requirements include lifting at least 40 pounds without restriction from the floor while implementing correct body mechanics and posture, as well as bending, squatting, and reaching to engage in physical play and activities with clients.
  • Capacity to walk, run, and climb as necessary to promote client safety and care needs, in alignment with BTPRC qualifications.
