Job Description
Job Title: Coordinator
Company: Michigan Technological University
Location: Houghton, MI
Pay: $42000 per year
AI Pay Analysis: An annual salary of $42,000 for a Coordinator role in Houghton, MI, translates to approximately $20.19 per hour based on a typical full-time schedule. This rate appears to be below the national average for coordinator positions, which can vary widely based on industry, experience, and specific responsibilities, often ranging from $40,000 to $60,000 or more annually in many regions. In Houghton, where the cost of living is relatively lower than in larger urban areas, this salary may be more competitive, yet it still falls on the lower end when compared to industry standards. Overall, while it may be reasonable given local conditions, prospective employees may seek higher compensation, especially if the role involves significant responsibilities.
