This position is pivotal in creating cleaner and healthier environments for our clients’ facilities and grounds. The following outlines the essential duties and responsibilities associated with this role:

Duties:

  • Execute all cleaning tasks for facilities utilizing designated ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
  • Perform comprehensive cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, polishing, managing trash, cleaning windows, and arranging furniture and equipment.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Oversee the opening and locking of facilities, while enabling and disabling the security system as necessary.
  • Previous experience of 1-2 years as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is advantageous but not required.
  • On-the-job training will be provided for candidates who exhibit a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
  • Experience in a professional janitorial setting, such as an office complex, hotel, hospital, or school, is beneficial.
  • Flexibility and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment are essential.
  • Foster a positive work climate by maintaining a pleasant attitude and contributing effectively to the team, which includes adhering to uniform guidelines and demonstrating reliability and punctuality.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:
