The role of a Home Instead Care Professional is pivotal in enhancing the lives of seniors and contributing to the well-being of your community. Home Instead is actively seeking dedicated individuals for full-time or part-time positions to carry out essential services that ensure aging adults feel safe, comfortable, joyful, and remain in their homes. We provide a wide range of non-medical support to help seniors navigate the challenges of aging with dignity. Employees can work as little as 4 hours a day, several days a week, up to a full 40-hour workweek.

As a Care Professional, your responsibilities may include:

– Offering companionship through attentive listening and engaging conversation
– Performing light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and laundry
– Organizing and preparing meals, grocery shopping, and running errands
– Assisting clients in managing their medication schedules
– Helping with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and safely transitioning in and out of bed

No prior healthcare experience is required to assist seniors with their daily activities. Home Instead provides comprehensive training and support to equip Care Professionals with the knowledge and confidence necessary to meet the unique needs of each client. Training options include classroom instruction, online resources, and hands-on guidance within the home setting.

Requirements for the Care Professional position include:
