Job description:
We are seeking to fill both full-time and part-time HOUSEKEEPER positions immediately at Henry Ford St. John Hospital, located at 22101 Moross Road, Detroit, MI 48236. Please note that only online applications will be accepted.

As part of this position, you will be responsible for performing light cleaning duties to ensure establishments—such as hotels, restaurants, and hospitals—are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– Delivering quality customer service with attention to detail.
– Sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and polishing floors.
– Vacuuming carpets, rugs, and draperies.
– Shampooing carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
– Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
– Cleaning metal fixtures and fittings.
– Emptying and sanitizing trash containers.
– Cleaning wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
– Wiping down glass surfaces.
– Making beds and changing linens as needed.
– Realigning furniture and amenities according to layout specifications.
– Addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
– Resolving housekeeping issues such as spills and broken items.
– Contributing to team initiatives and interacting professionally with customers and colleagues.
– Performing various other tasks as assigned.
