Job description:

Home Instead is seeking experienced Care Professionals (CNA, HHA, STNA, DCS) to join our Afternoon team in the Ottawa County and Erie County area. Our shifts are available from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, or a combination of these hours (for example, 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM). Home Instead offers a diverse range of services designed to help older adults remain in the comfort of their homes while addressing the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion.

Responsibilities of Care Professionals:

  • Empower older adults to thrive in the comfort of their homes
  • Foster meaningful relationships within the community
  • Perform household duties, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
  • Provide incidental transportation to appointments, errands, and activities
  • Assist with personal hygiene care as needed, including toileting, dressing, and bathing

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Ability to treat and care for older adults and their property with dignity and respect; patience and reliability are essential
  • Capability to pass a background check, DMV check, and drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance are required
  • Applicants must be 21 years or older
