We are seeking a Transportation Supervisor for immediate hiring in Zeeland, MI, within our Supply Chain Solutions division.   • Pay Type: Exempt / Salary, paid twice per month
  • Annual Salary: $75,000, commensurate with experience
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Position Summary:
The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within their assigned function, with accountability for all aspects of Operations and Account Management. This role includes providing effective leadership to direct reports and achieving daily operational goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure customer service satisfaction while managing expectations
  • Oversee performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt staff
  • Manage daily planning and scheduling
  • Implement health and safety management protocols
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related fields is required
  • At least one (1) year of direct supervisory or leadership experience is essential
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) is required
  • Advanced logistics industry knowledge is a necessity
  • In-depth knowledge of customer/company local and federal regulations is required
  • A fundamental understanding of Supply Chain Management components is necessary
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production processes is required
