Job description:

Cleveland, Ohio area manufacturing firm is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to set up and operate CNC Milling Machines. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $20.00 – $30.00 per hour, accompanied by benefits.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must possess CNC Machinist training and certifications, along with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in setting up, editing programs, and operating CNC Milling Machines.
  • Basic math skills are essential, including proficiency in decimal calculations and fraction conversions.
  • Candidates must be able to read and interpret blueprints, as well as follow both written and verbal work instructions.
  • Proficiency in measuring materials and machined parts using various gauges, calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and height and depth gauges is required.
  • Applicants should be capable of downloading CNC programs from the network server and editing them to meet specific requirements.
  • The ability to load cutting tools, adjust offsets, install fixtures, and set reference points for programs is essential.
  • Candidates will be responsible for performing minor daily maintenance on CNC machinery.
