Job description:

Pay is $21.39 per hour. Working hours are from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM on a desirable rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

As a Mixer at Litehouse, you will play a critical role in the functionality of all mixing systems, which include spice preparation, testing, and production.

Essential Job Duties:

• Load ingredients into blenders and operate pumping and metering systems to create intricate, high-value recipes. Employ advanced batch automation computer systems as necessary.
• Perform machine changeovers and washouts between production runs while adhering to rigorous allergen guidelines and detailed sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment and assist in housekeeping duties throughout the facility and its grounds.
• Utilize the data collection system to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability, implementing the FIFO (First In, First Out) method for ingredient usage.
• Requisition supplies and keep production records, ensuring accurate entries into factory software.
• Adhere to Food Safety policies and promptly report any food safety or quality concerns to your supervisor.
• Be prepared to work overtime and weekends as required.

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in using computer-based batch automation technology.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, focus, and the ability to work autonomously.
• Capability to frequently lift up to 55 lbs independently.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and maintain accurate documentation.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
