Job description:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Member Services Representative to join our team in a full-time capacity during the afternoon and evening shifts. Bilingual candidates in English and Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply. As a pivotal member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a memorable and "Judgement Free" experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service and Front Desk Activities:

  • Warmly greet members and guests, providing exemplary customer service that fosters a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Answer incoming calls in a personable manner and assist callers with a range of inquiries.
  • Check in members, provide tours, register new members, and communicate updates and events effectively.
  • Address member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Process beverage and merchandise sales using the point-of-sale system.
  • Utilize the POS system to assist with membership cards, address changes, and billing or payment inquiries.

Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:

  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area through proactive upkeep.
  • Perform routine facility maintenance tasks, including cleaning spills, managing trash, polishing windows and mirrors, and re-racking weights.
  • Ensure all exercise equipment and tanning beds are regularly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Conduct regular cleaning and stocking of restrooms and wet areas.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Candidates for this position must undergo a seven-year criminal background check within the first week of employment; continued employment is contingent upon a satisfactory outcome.
