We are currently seeking Mid Shift Full-Time Environmental Service Floor Care Technicians for McLaren Oakland (Oxford campus) in Oxford, Michigan. Below are the job qualifications and essential details.

Job Overview:
The Floor Care Technician will be assigned to various locations within the healthcare facility, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across the campus. While the following duties outline the general responsibilities of the role, Xanitos may also assign additional tasks based on client needs, operational requirements, and industry standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Monitor designated areas and corridors for debris, spills, and waste.
• Clean corners, edges, and baseboards within assigned spaces.
• Dust mop all hard floor surfaces, ensuring thorough cleaning behind doors and moving any movable items.
• Remove marks and scuffs from the floor surfaces.
• Damp mop floors with the appropriate cleaning chemicals or utilize a scrubbing machine as required.

Project Work:

• Operate floor machines for assigned project work.
• Burnish floors using high-speed floor machines as directed.
• Scrub and strip floors as necessary.
• May be tasked with "Area Cleaner" and "Waste Disposal Technician" duties.
• Complete other related responsibilities as required.

Job Qualifications:

• Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
• Prior experience in the janitorial field is a plus.
• Experience in medical cleaning is also advantageous.
• Post-offer medical examination, background screening, and drug testing are required.
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent is required.
