Job description:

We are inviting applications for full-time Housekeepers or Environmental Services Technicians to join our dedicated Environmental Services team at the Adrian Dominican Sisters Motherhouse campus in Adrian, MI. This role focuses on providing our retired Sisters with a clean and safe home-like atmosphere.

In this position, you will receive training and collaborate with an exceptional team to deliver housekeeping and janitorial services. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the sanitation and cleanliness of all campus buildings and facilities, which encompass offices, residential rooms, dining areas, nursing facilities, hotel and conference rooms, meeting spaces, restrooms, locker and shower rooms, and break rooms.

Shift Details: The hours for this position are from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with occasional night shift rotations, requiring work every third weekend and some holidays as needed.

Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $15.39, with an additional shift premium of $0.50.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly clean windows, walls, floors, carpeting, fixtures, and furnishings.
• Execute special projects such as drapery removal/hanging and window cleaning.
• Assist with environmental and housekeeping duties in the laundry department as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in custodial, commercial housekeeping, or environmental services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to frequently stoop, bend, reach, and lift approximately 35 pounds.
• Capable of sight and hearing.
• Required to pass a background check and drug screening, as well as receive a mandatory annual flu vaccine and TB test (employer provided).
