Job description:

Pharmacy Technician
Shifts available: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Responsibilities

  • Conduct order entry and follow up for new orders, including DCs, STAT orders, Accuflow change logs, mail orders, CII evaluations, and patient admissions within the pharmacy system.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely input of prescription and patient information utilizing the pharmacy computer systems, Framework and DocuTrack.
  • Research, follow up, and troubleshoot any discrepancies in prescription and patient data entry.
  • Resolve order discrepancies with customers, addressing issues related to illegible prescriptions or potential medication concerns.
  • Collaborate with Order Entry leadership to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of client services, policies, and procedures.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering phones and responding to customer inquiries as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Pharmacy technician certification.
  • Experience as a registered pharmacy technician.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy computer systems including Framework and DocuTrack.
  • Strong skills in data entry and order processing.
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities.
  • Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities across multiple locations.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and headset usage.
  • Availability to work every other weekend and on holidays (3 holidays per year).
  • Experience in a closed-door pharmacy environment is preferred.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00 per hour. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
