Job Overview
The Logistics Operator I plays a crucial role in fulfilling customer orders. This position involves navigating the warehouse to retrieve and stack products based on the Pick Ticket, utilizing a computer screen assigned on a designated conveyor or pallet. The Operator is responsible for assembling stable pallets of products while consistently meeting or surpassing safety, accuracy, and efficiency standards established by the Warehouse and Company.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and assemble specified quantities of product cases onto pre-determined pallets as directed by the Pick Ticket, ensuring safety while building stable pallets and adhering to warehouse expectations for safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Transport stacked pallets to various areas of the warehouse using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) – Pallet Jack – in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and assist in housekeeping tasks as assigned or as necessary.
  • Conduct a daily PIT Checklist, promptly informing Warehouse Management of any identified issues.
  • Resolve errors reported by the Checker concerning product and/or quantity discrepancies.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to ensure the effective operation of the warehouse in a dynamic environment.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while walking and repetitively lifting weights between 30-75 lbs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Proficient in coordinating and organizing reliable warehouse processes.
  • Flexibility to transition smoothly between different work areas as needed throughout the workday while meeting minimum performance expectations.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting instructions from a computer screen.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to distinguish between different packages.
  • Capacity to work in a noisy and non-climate-controlled environment, including exposure to high and low temperatures.

Minimum Qualifications
