Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes enable you to be home daily.
  • Typical shift consists of 4 days, 12 hours each.
  • Saturday deliveries are often required.
  • Vacation coverage for drivers may include some night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Carefully unload products utilizing a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, and place items in designated storage areas at customer locations.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and secure necessary signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when required.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to enhance client relationships.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling products weighing between 20 to 80+ lbs. repeatedly during shifts.
  • Comfortable driving and working in various weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of residence, with appropriate endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months in the food and/or beverage delivery sector is required.
  • Preference for candidates able to operate manual transmission, which may be mandatory in certain locations.
  • Proficiency in the English language is essential for effective communication, understanding traffic signs, responding to inquiries, and completing documentation.
