The compensation for this position starts at $25.55 per hour and may vary based on relevant experience and qualifications. Schedule:

  • 85% of Driver routes are home daily.
  • Typical schedule is 4 days at 12 hours each.
  • Saturday deliveries may be required.
  • Coverage for driver vacations can include night routes and overnight hotel accommodations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Skillfully unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and place items in designated storage areas.
  • Ensure delivery accuracy by verifying orders with customers and obtaining appropriate signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers, as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance our clients’ experience.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20 to over 80 lbs. of product repetitively throughout each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in adverse weather conditions, with frequent stops (10 or more) each shift.

Qualifications:

  • Registration in the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid CDL Class A license issued by your state of legal residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months in the food or beverage delivery sector, is required.
  • Capability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred and may be required in certain locations.
  • Proficient in reading and communicating in English, allowing for effective conversation, understanding of highway signs, responding to inquiries, and completing reports and records.
