Role Summary
The Team Member is tasked with enhancing the member experience by delivering exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome members, prospective members, and guests, providing outstanding customer service.
  • Manage all front desk operations, including:
    • Answering phone calls in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various inquiries.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member sign-ups.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Updating member accounts as necessary.
    • Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
    • Supporting the maintenance of the club’s cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage.
  • A genuine passion for fitness and health.
  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
