Job description:
Provides exceptional customer service daily that surpasses standard expectations while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Efficiently loads orders into delivery vehicles and verifies the accuracy of deliveries, ensuring they are routed appropriately. Accurately completes return forms and manages invoices, transfers, and all relevant documentation.
Undertakes additional warehouse duties when there are no pending deliveries and consistently observes necessary safety regulations, including vehicle safety protocols. Relays relevant information to management promptly and addresses customer inquiries with politeness and professionalism, escalating issues to management when further assistance is required.
Delivers customer orders in a timely and professional manner, strictly adhering to assigned delivery routes. Initiates calls to the manager as needed from customer locations, initials cash invoices clearly, and follows established cash handling procedures. Records all pertinent details on invoices and conducts daily vehicle checks.
Performs routine maintenance checks on vehicles and informs management of any required non-routine repairs or maintenance. Ensures daily vehicle cleanliness and participates in facility maintenance, including housekeeping responsibilities.
Exhibits professionalism, courtesy, and proactivity in interactions with customers, vendors, and colleagues at all times. Accurately and efficiently follows both oral and written instructions, collaborates effectively with teammates under time constraints, and demonstrates attention to detail in quality work.
Adheres to company policies and procedures while meeting attendance and punctuality standards. Actively seeks training opportunities, both internally and externally, to enhance skills and knowledge. Consistently reports for work on time and as scheduled, in accordance with policy guidelines.
