Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily return home.
  • Typical schedule involves four 12-hour shifts.
  • Saturday deliveries are frequently required.
  • Driver vacation coverage may necessitate some night routes and overnight hotel stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or manually, placing items in designated storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and secure proper signatures.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers as necessary.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance client relationships.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights ranging from 20 to 80+ lbs repeatedly during each shift.
  • Willingness to drive and work in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is essential.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of residence, along with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months in the food and/or beverage delivery sector is required.
  • Proficiency in operating a manual transmission is preferred and may be necessary for certain locations.
  • Must possess the ability to read and communicate effectively in English, enabling the understanding of highway traffic signs, responding to official inquiries, and completing reports.
