Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our expanding team. In this role, you will work across multiple locations, focusing on order entry and delivering exceptional customer care while enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform order entry tasks including new order entry, cancellations, STAT order entry, Accuflow Change logs, mail order entry, controlled substance evaluations, work queue management, blister management, and patient admissions into the pharmacy system.
- Ensure accurate and timely input of prescription and patient information utilizing the pharmacy computer system, Framework / DocuTrack.
- Research, follow up, and troubleshoot discrepancies in prescription and patient data entry.
- Resolve order discrepancies with customers, addressing issues such as illegible prescriptions or medication concerns.
- Collaborate with Order Entry leadership to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the continual evaluation and improvement of client services, policies, and procedures.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to customer needs to ensure satisfaction for both internal and external clients.

Work Environment
The work environment is a closed-door pharmacy setting where technicians engage with customers over the phone. Available shifts include 1st shift (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM), 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM), and 3rd shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM). Technicians will be scheduled to work one weekend every other week, with a weekday off following a weekend shift, and are required to work three out of six holidays annually. The dress code consists of scrubs or business casual attire paired with comfortable, clean tennis shoes. The facility is well-organized and features a front desk, order entry and pharmacist office area, operations floor with automated equipment, an IV room, and a break room offering coffee, water, and snacks for purchase. Order entry and customer care tasks are performed exclusively on computers using a headset.
Pay and Benefits
