Schedule Details:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily home time.
  • Typical work schedule is 4 days on, 12 hours each day.
  • Saturday deliveries are often a requirement.
  • Coverage for driver vacations may include some night routes and overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers while adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, ensuring proper placement in designated storage areas.
  • Confirm delivery accuracy with customers and secure proper signatures.
  • Manage customer payments and collections when applicable.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull between 20 to over 80 lbs. repeatedly during each shift.
  • Comfort in driving and working under inclement weather conditions, with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Must be registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse*.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • A valid CDL Class A license issued by your state of residence, along with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • At least six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or a minimum of three months experience specifically in the food and beverage delivery sector.
  • Preference for candidates with manual transmission operating experience; this may be required in certain locations.
  • Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication, understanding traffic signs, responding to official inquiries, and accurately completing reports.
