Schedule:

  • 85% of driver routes allow for daily home time.
  • Typical schedule consists of four 12-hour shifts.
  • Saturday deliveries may be required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to deliver products to customers, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Efficiently unload products using equipment such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks, placing items in designated storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers, ensuring proper signatures are obtained.
  • Manage collections and payments from customers when necessary.
  • Provide professional customer service to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull weights ranging from 20 to over 80 pounds during each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in various weather conditions, with frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is mandatory.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of residence, along with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications, is required.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (in any industry) or three months of experience specifically in food and beverage delivery is necessary.
  • Proficiency in operating a manual transmission is preferred and may be required in specific locations.
  • Ability to read, communicate, and understand English—sufficient to engage in conversations, interpret highway traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete reports.
