Reports To: Production Supervisor

Description:
The Technician will be responsible for conducting repetitive departmental assembly operations or live assembly processes aimed at the mass production of products such as automobile interior trim components and assemblies.

Responsibilities:
– Assemble parts according to specified relationships, conducting thorough inspections of each component. The role involves securely fastening parts together using hand tools or powered tools, as well as operating and maintaining equipment such as KPM presses, inspection molds, welders, robots, forklifts, hoists, and cranes for material movement.
– Potentially assist in various work situations, lines, or departments as production conditions necessitate. The Technician is accountable for meeting established quality standards and production targets, while also adhering to preventative maintenance protocols, housekeeping standards, and safe working practices. Certain roles may require color discernment, which is essential for specific assignments.
– May be designated to operate a tow motor as needed.
– Flexibility to work any assigned shift, with the capacity to accommodate overtime on short notice.
– Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
