Job Description
Job Title: Bartender | Kalamazoo Country Club | FT
Company: Greenleaf Hospitality Group
Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Pay: $18 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $18 for a bartender position at the Kalamazoo Country Club in Kalamazoo, MI, is generally considered competitive but may vary based on several factors such as experience, tips, and the establishment’s reputation. As of 2023, bartenders in Michigan typically earn between $15 to $25 per hour, with many positions providing additional earnings from tips that can significantly augment base pay. In a country club setting, where clientele may be more affluent, tips could be higher, making this rate potentially advantageous. However, when comparing to the state minimum wage and average rates for similar establishments, this pay could be on the lower end for more experienced bartenders, while still being appealing for entry-level positions or those new to the industry. Overall, the rate aligns with local standards but might be enhanced with a better tipping environment.
