We are currently seeking an unarmed Security Officer to serve at an industrial site in the Traverse City, Michigan area.

Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to all individuals encountered while on duty, including providing directions and general business information.
  • Controlling access for patrons, visitors, and vendors, ensuring that all entries are properly logged.
  • Conducting hourly rounds and executing mobile device scans at designated checkpoints.
  • Monitoring security cameras and patrolling the premises to deter theft and ensure a safe environment.
  • Maintaining clear and accurate logs of individuals and property, including packages.
  • Responding to incidents, including emergencies on the property, and documenting details for both building management and Titan Security management.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Capable of meeting the essential physical functions of the role, which may include lifting over 50 lbs, conducting foot patrols, navigating stairs, and working in varying weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working at heights and operating elevators.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience as a security officer or in a customer-facing role, such as retail, hospitality, or food service.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
  • Experience utilizing Guard Tour Systems.
