Job description:
As a Night Guest Services Agent, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable experience for guests during their stay. Your key responsibilities will include:

– Warmly greeting guests and efficiently managing the registration process. This includes inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirming guest details and room rates, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, supplying welcome packets, and ensuring guests are oriented with their room locations or assisted by a bell person.

– Assisting guests with the check-out process, which encompasses ensuring accurate billing for rooms and services, utilizing the point-of-sale system, managing transactions that include cash handling, processing credit and debit cards, recording various forms of payment, exchanging foreign currency, providing change, and managing gift certificates and cards.

– Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of hotel features, including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, local area information, and delivering informative answers to guest inquiries.

– Employing effective upselling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities with the aim of maximizing room occupancy.

– Addressing guest inquiries and requests while resolving issues promptly, courteously, and efficiently.

– Managing guest complaints through thorough research and negotiation to ensure guest satisfaction.
