We are looking for a Part-Time Coffee Sales Advisor who will delight in demonstrating the latest advancements in brewing technology that enhance the coffee experience. Position Overview

The Coffee Sales Advisor will act as an enthusiastic representative for our client, Nespresso, showcasing their premium range of espresso and coffee machines. This role is integral to a nationwide sales and promotional campaign within select flagship houseware retailers such as Sur La Table, Williams Sonoma, Macy’s, and Bloomingdale’s. You will serve as an in-store expert, engaging with customers and conducting live demonstrations to emphasize why Nespresso brewing products stand out in the market. Nespresso is guided by a core belief that quality and environmental sustainability should coexist. Through their Positive Cup Campaign, Nespresso integrates sustainable practices into their operations, championing the idea that the coffee industry can be a catalyst for positive change through waste reduction, promoting regenerative agriculture, and fostering resilient farming communities.

As a Nespresso Expert, you will play a crucial role in illustrating this sustainable business framework while demonstrating how the brand can cater to diverse taste preferences and elevate customers’ morning routines with barista-quality experiences at home.

Schedule & Location

• 8 hours per weekend
• 12 PM – 4 PM on Saturdays and Sundays
• Crate & Barrel, Novi, MI 48377

Duties

• Consistently convey enthusiasm and passion for the Nespresso brand
• Deliver the full Nespresso experience through coffee tastings, engaging machine demonstrations, and tailored product recommendations based on customers’ flavor preferences
• Drive product sales and machine registrations through exemplary demonstrations, product knowledge, and coffee expertise
• Conclude demonstrations using effective sales closing techniques, emphasizing Nespresso’s sustainability and recycling initiatives
• Educate store associates on confidently communicating Nespresso information
• Utilize the Nespresso Trade mobile app for registering machine purchases and coffee orders
• Maintain the tasting table/demo area per hygiene standards and visual guidelines
• Ensure demo machines are clean, functional, and ready for use
• Foster positive professional relationships with store leaders and associates
• Attend required program training sessions and team conference calls
• Complete feedback surveys and provide photographic evidence following each shift

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, sales, or training
• Passion for coffee-related beverages
• Previous experience in food demonstrations is a plus
• Engaging demeanor with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Comfortable presenting to both individuals and groups

Physical Requirements

• Must adhere to professional appearance standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Capability to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance
• Access to a personal smartphone with a data plan for work use
