Compensation:
This position is hourly, with an anticipated base pay range of $21.50 to $22.50 per hour.

We are currently seeking a part-time (30+ hrs/week) On-Site Service Representative for the Greater Fostoria, OH area (from Tiffin to Leipsic, OH). The Service Representative (OSR) will report to a Supervisor or Manager of Onsite Services, providing crucial support to assigned customers by managing their inventory, delivering excellent customer service, and driving account growth through the customers’ inventory management (KeepStock) program. OSRs will also collaborate with partners to implement effective sales strategies and assist customers in understanding how Grainger can fulfill their business’s MRO needs.

Key Responsibilities:
– Serve multiple customer locations.
– Receive and stock purchased products at designated customer sites, ensuring product levels are maintained through scanning processes for ordering as inventory depletes.
– Address and resolve customer issues promptly to strengthen loyalty.
– Adhere to established routes determined by routing software and maintain route guides.
– Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in productivity, processes, and cycle time.
– Comply with safety and inspection requirements at the facilities where services are provided.
– Engage with customers to identify additional product needs and facilitate new orders.
– Assess customer needs during each site visit and collaborate with sales partners to expand Grainger’s offerings.

Qualifications:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or service environment.
– High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
– Ability to lift weights between 25 to 60 lbs and/or work in challenging positions.
– Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
– Capacity to handle various technical and operational challenges.
– Valid driver’s license in your state of residence is required.
– Must maintain mandatory levels of automobile insurance.
