Tuffy Tire is proud to be part of the Mavis Tire Family and is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Toledo, OH area. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States, with over 2,000 retail locations.

Position Overview: Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in the leadership of Mavis. This position supports the Store Manager in ensuring that each retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. Utilizing fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures, and standards, oversee the scheduling of mechanics and technicians, manage external orders, and ensure the quality and timely completion of services. Moreover, they are committed to meeting customer expectations and ensuring the safety of team members.

Position Overview: Service Manager
The Service Manager is tasked with assisting customers in selecting tires and recommending necessary under-car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, Service Managers are responsible for directing the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, as well as staging vehicle repair and maintenance work. This role also involves driving sales initiatives by directly communicating with customers, assessing their needs, providing pertinent information regarding requested and/or necessary repairs and maintenance, and ensuring a positive in-store experience that aligns with customer expectations.

To qualify for the Automotive Assistant / Service Manager position, candidates must meet the following criteria: (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess (i) at least 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) at least 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the responsibilities of the role.
