Anna’s House invites you to apply for the position of Line Cook at our Northland Drive location, where you will be responsible for preparing food to precise specifications and setting up stations according to the menu. In this role, you will also assist the Kitchen Manager with daily tasks and significantly contribute to the overall guest satisfaction at Anna’s House.
As a Line Cook, you will prepare, season, and cook all menu items served to our guests, including specialties and featured items. It is essential to consistently and efficiently produce each order while adhering to the quality and safety standards expected by both Anna’s House and our valued guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items efficiently, collaborating closely with kitchen staff.
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, and deep fryers.
- Manage multiple cooking orders simultaneously, ensuring compliance with guest instructions.
- Deliver all food items simultaneously, maintaining high quality and timely service.
- Prepare, wash, and cut ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
- Respond to and follow instructions from the Kitchen Manager and General Manager.
- Maintain a clean workstation and appropriately store leftover food.
- Set up and stock stations with the necessary supplies.
- Adhere to nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with both coworkers and guests.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A culinary school diploma is a plus.
Experience
- Proven cooking experience is preferred, including prior work as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.
Skills
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Manual dexterity for operating cutting tools and kitchen equipment.
