Seeking a dedicated Day Shift Caregiver for a client in Farmington Hills. Our team is expanding, and we are in search of compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide companion care and assist with daily living activities for elderly individuals and those in need of recuperative or ongoing support.

Position Details:

  • Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience or knowledge in caring for clients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
  • Familiarity with Grand Mal Seizures and appropriate care techniques
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance required
  • Previous home care experience is advantageous
  • Access to email and a mobile smart device
  • Understanding and adherence to client ethics and confidentiality in care
  • Must be 40 years or older
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation to and from work

Responsibilities (may vary by client):

  • Provide care for clients with TBI and Grand Mal Seizures
  • Administer medication reminders and monitor mobility
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Prepare meals and assist with gravity tube feeding, nutrition, and clean-up
  • Supervise to prevent falls and monitor seizures, responding promptly when necessary
  • Foster companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
  • Follow the established plan of care
  • Maintain professional communication with families and team members
