Job Title: Barista

Company: Corewell Health

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $16 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly wage of $16 for a barista in Grand Rapids, MI, is somewhat competitive, although it may not fully align with industry standards. Typically, barista salaries in this region range from approximately $12 to $18 per hour, depending on experience, establishment, and tips, with higher-end cafés and specialty coffee shops potentially offering more. While $16 is on the higher end of the scale for entry-level positions, it may still be considered modest when accounting for the rising cost of living and inflation. Overall, while this rate offers a decent start, it may require further review to remain attractive in the competitive job market for food service roles.
