Job description:

We are excited to announce exceptional kitchen opportunities as we prepare to reopen for the spring season at Walnut Creek Country Club! Located just 10 minutes from Novi, our private club in South Lyon is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and friendly individuals to become part of our team. We are hiring line cooks for our casual dining, fine dining, and banquet services.

Ideal candidates will possess outstanding communication skills, a genuine enjoyment of interacting with others, and the self-motivation necessary to exceed expectations. While previous experience in a culinary setting is beneficial, it is not mandatory. A professional appearance and attitude, along with a keen attention to detail and a passion for hospitality, are essential. Candidates must be available to work a combination of weekends, evenings, and some holidays.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with a minimum of six months to a year of line cook experience or attendance at culinary school.
  • Knowledge of food production, storage and handling techniques, sanitation, and the operation of commercial culinary equipment is required.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift 20-50 pounds frequently.
  • Full mobility is required for the entire duration of the shift.
