We are seeking dedicated individuals for the Industrial Sanitation Crew on the 3rd Shift. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $17.50 per hour and operates from Sunday to Thursday, 10 PM to 6:30 AM (Friday morning). The role is based at our food manufacturing facility conveniently located near downtown Grand Rapids.

As a member of our team, you will engage in a fast-paced, hands-on environment within a small, close-knit company that values its staff like family. Your primary focus will be on upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety within our industrial food manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize industrial production and packaging equipment.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery to ensure thorough sanitation.
  • Adhere to stringent food safety and sanitation guidelines (SQF standards).
  • Properly handle cleaning chemicals and comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace at all times.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of industrial sanitation experience is required (note: janitorial or housekeeping experience is not applicable).
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing sanitation is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working in a wet, cold, and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
